Wet n Wild "Yo Soy" and Hit Polish Nail Lacquer "Divination"

Well, to be completely honest, I really had no desire to paint my nails tonight. I got a package earlier containing 12 Klean Color polishes, and as I was opening it, pop, my index finger polish literally just popped off, all at once. Great. So, I decided to do my nails tonight with 2 polishes I needed to try before I could begin to try any of the other new ones I have bought recently.

So first off, I decided I just wanted to go with a nude look tonight, and coincidentally, I bought Wet n Wild Yo Soy this morning at Hi-School Pharmacy. Yo Soy is a nice, creamy, very neutral color, that I find very flattering on my skin tone. It took only two coats to get completely opaque, and with my small nails, it honestly could have taken just one if I had been more careful to avoid streaks. I'm actually pleasantly surprised with how great the formula and color are on this polish, considering it was only a whopping .99.

So recently I have been getting back into looking at indie brands. I took a break from nail polish for a while when my husband and I got married, due to just being busy with other things and us being short on money. Now that it's all worn off, and we can actually spend more than 10 minutes away from each other, I've started looking into what I've missed. I came across Hit Polish Nail Lacquer on etsy, and was just skimming through her polishes. That's when I came across Divination. Divination is a very light green shimmery base loaded with large teal and gold holographic circle glitters, medium gold and teal hex glitters, and small teal and gold hex and circle glitters, All of this with this beautiful teal shimmer running through it. It is absolutely stunning. I wore this on my ring finger with 2 coats. I didn't have to fish to get any glitters, I actually got more than enough of the large glitter, so much that my small nails couldn't handle it all.

The only down side to the polish was that it was quite thick, and you needed to be very careful how much you had on your brush.

I hope you enjoy my #notd and that you will check back for my next one!

Also... this mani is "doxie approved"
